Principal or Consultant Psychologist
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Principal or Consultant Psychologist to work within an inpatient adult learning disabilities service in North Wales.

Role snapshot:
The post holder will be leading an MDT, based in an inpatients service, for adult clients who present with a learning disability and/or additional complex needs including autism and mental health needs.
The candidate appointed will have the opportunity to lead and develop the psychology services within this specialist hospital, including innovatively developing psychological therapy and approaches to meet the individual needs of each service user.
Contract type – permanent
Hours – full time, subject to applications part time may be considered.
Salary – £65,000 – £75,000 FTE
Experience required:
Due to the seniority of the role, Psychologists applying will have extensive experience working with intellectual disabilities and ASD. Those with hospital setting experience will be at an advantage. HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologist is required.
