Principal Clinical Psychologist – neuro

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Principal Clinical Psychologist to work within a specialist brain injury unit in central Kent who have an overall CQC rating of “Good.”

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT who work with adult service users with acquired brain injury, complex neurological conditions and challenging behaviours. The post holder will hold a small complex caseload offering individual neuropsychological assessments and therapy to service users across neuro rehab units and residential units.

The candidate appointed will manage a small team and therefore supervise and support other qualified Psychologists, trainee Psychologists and assistant Psychologists with neuropsychological assessments and therapy.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – both part time and full time are being considered.

Salary – £53,500 – £65,600

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist and extensive post qualification experience working within neuropsychology services.
