Clinical Psychologist – neuro rehab

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist to join a neurorehabilitation hospital, supporting adults with acquired Brain Injury and complex/challenging needs, based in Staffordshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will lead and oversee the operation of the therapy programme within the service (including specialised psychological assessment/intervention.)

You will supervise/ manage other Psychology professions, provide consultation, contribute to formulation and treatment plans, alongside monitoring clinical outcome measures.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to service developments, facilitate staff reflective practice sessions, as well as design and deliver training.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full-time , part-time applicants may be considered

Salary – up to £62,400 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist along with experience working within a neuro setting (this could be acquired brain injury, neuro-rehab, or working with neuro-degenerative disorders.) You will also have previous management/leadership experience ideally.
