CBT Therapist – step 4

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a CBT Therapist to work for a step 4 adult mental health services in Basildon, Brentwood and Billericay.

Role summary

The candidate appointed will be joining an adult step 4 service working with general mental health presentations, with a high number of trauma and personality disorder cases. The successful candidate will conduct assessments, including risk assessments, and deliver therapeutic interventions on a 121 and group basis. Interventions may include CAT, EMDR, CBT, IPT, DIT, MBT and DBT.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time (a minimum of 3 days per week can be considered)

Salary – £43,500 – £49,500 FTE

Experience required:

CBT Therapists applying will have BABCP Accreditation (or provisional)along with additional training in either Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behaviour therapy for psychosis (CBT-P), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT) or Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Sound experience working with trauma and personality disorders is required. Those provisionally accredited will receive full support to full accreditation.
