CBT Therapist – developmental trauma
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Creative Therapist to work within a specialist CYP trauma service which can be based in Leigh.
About the employer:
This employer delivers bespoke packages to children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma working with children’s residential homes, local authorities, supported accommodation providers and educational settings. This employer also provides therapeutic support to organisations to help the development of their trauma informed practice.
Role snapshot:
The essence of the role will be working with external organizations, including schools and educational settings, offering consultations, reflective practice, direct therapeutic input, assessments, and training. The post holder will provide consultation, psychological support, training and development to foster carers, residential staff teams, education settings and a variety of organisations that we provide support to.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help develop and lead this therapy service contributing to the wider company’s centre of excellence in the field of developmental trauma and attachment.
Contract type – permanent
Hours – 3 – 5 days per week can be considered
Salary – £40,000 – £50,000 FTE
Experience required:
Those applying will have experience of working in, or with, local authorities and will be trained in DDP and/or PACE Family Therapy. BABCP accreditation is mandatory.
