Art Psychotherapist – schools

Shire Healthcare are working with a reputable and leading provider of specialist care and education recruiting for an Art Psychotherapist to be based in South Essex.

About the employer:

This employer is an independent leading provider of specialist care and education. They work with children and young people in either an educational and/or residential setting who present a complexity of needs including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions, autism, ADHD, and special educational needs.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed be joining an MDT and will conduct clinical assessments and provide specialist and evidence based psychological interventions in either a 121 or group setting to pupils and residents (5-19 yrs old). This role will be based across specialist schools, children’s homes and integrated provisions.

Contract type – permanent (52 weeks)

Hours – full time (part time applicants will be considered)

Salary – £48,900 – £57,500 FTE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as an Art Therapist or Art Psychotherapist along with previous experience working with children and young people with complex needs such as ASDautismneuro and/or trauma.
